Adventure Start!
Pallet Town...

Ngh... This. Is so. Boring... Richie thought to himself as he lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling, It's enough that I'm pretty much confined to this room, I really wonder what the trainers on TV are doing...

He sat up, then looked out of his 1/4th open window, "Sigh, I wanna go outside..."

"Richie, dear, lunch is ready, come down!" Mom called.

"J-just a sec!" Richie called back, he ran down the stairs into the living room, and sat to the table, "Thanks."

"You look upset, you okay?" Mom asked.

"Honestly, no. Mom, I wanna go outside, I want to be a trainer." Richie exclaimed.

Richie's mom looked disappointed, but she stayed silent.

"Mom?"

"... I can't let you do that... It's too dangerous." she replied sternly.

Richie hung his head, then walked up to his room.

"I should've expected that answer..." Richie mumbled, "No! I can't stay here!!" Richie walked to the window and pried it open, I'm outta here! he thought as he jumped from the window to the ground, "Phew, now, where to start?"

Kloud had been sitting on the floor, playing her Gamecube and looking bored out of her mind. "That's it." She opened her PC and took out the Potion, taking care to place it and a few other essential supplies in her Bag, before going down the stairs, then facing her mother.

"Mom, I'm going on my adventure."

"...."

"Bye Mom."

Kloud sighed and left the house, looking around. "First things first, I gotta catch a Pokemon. I don't really want to go visit that creepy old Professor by myself... So maybe I can get one of the local Pokemon to come with."

"Tch-! Agh!" Richie dropped to the ground with a thud, gripping his ankle, "I really should have thought over jumping from the second floor!"

"Sigh, isn't there a Professor here? Agh! Dammit! Stupid ankle!" Richie spat, gripping is sprained ankle, harder this time, "Can't catch a break..."

Kinfin was sitting in his room, playing his NES.

"Take that Airman! Leaf Shield to the face! ..... I'm bored now."

Kinfin then jumped out his window, yelling "Adventure!"

"Ah, perfect landing."

Kinfin then heard Richie's calls of pain, and ran in his general direction.

Kloud heard someone shout. It sounded like they had said "Adventure"? It was somewhat close to the Lab. She walked closer, peering from behind a sign. She'd rather just see what was going on, first.

"Oh, you must be one of the neighbor boys. Well, you might as well be useful and help me up, I need to get to the Professor, it's important that I get there posthaste." Richie said, holding his hand up to the boy.

"Hey hey hey. The name's Kinfin. Not Neighbor Boy. Got it? Now hold on, I'll get ya to him."

Kinfin then began to lift Richie onto his back, but was having a bit of an issues accommodating for his weight.

(Kinfin is typically twiggy)

Kloud came out from behind the sign and walked over. "Um, hi. I've seen you two before..." She tilted her head, then pulled Richie off of Kinfin's back and supported him on his injured side. "You'll break your back if you aren't careful. Where are you headed?"

"Thanks. And to the Local Prof. Appreciate the assistance."

And with that, Kinfin began to lead the way to the lab.

Richie looked at the girl with a confused look, "You've seen me before? Ngh, anyways, I need to get out of this killjoy town. I need the Professor to provide a Pokemon for me." He turned to the boy known as Kinfin and said, "Well, thank you for helping, Neighbor boy."

"I told you, the name's Kinfin. You should be more willing to remember it. After all. If I'm having trouble lifting you, I'm sure that the girl would too. Speaking of which, how about some names?"

All the while, Kinfin continued to lead the way to the lab.

"Why do you seem so offended? You're my neighbor, and you're a boy. Anyway, I'm called Richie." Richie said.

"That creeper...?" Kloud looked irritated for a moment before shaking her head. "Anyways, I'm Kloud." She nodded. "I live in the house to the north-west, so I can see pretty much everywhere in town from my window."

(Alright, since we're using injury to get to the Lab, I'm going to veto the Professor grass thing)

"Looks like we're here." Kinfin said as they got to the door of the lab. But what was on the other side wasn't exactly the most pleasant of sights or sounds.

(Enter the Oak Bros. I think we should all control the Oak we manipulate rival in out personal playthoughs)

Kloud dropped Richie in shock. "Y-you...?!" She glared at one of the boys.

"Heheh... Lookie lookie, it's Kloud. What, were you looking to get a Pokemon? Don't even try, loser! Gramps only has three, and they're for us! You're too late." He smirked.

"You're a jerk." Kloud said, rather matter-of-factly.

"Hey, check it out. The string bean's mustered the strength to lift something twice his size. What are you, some kinda ant?"

"If I were an ant, you'd be a paint splatter. Ant's can lift 50 times there weight."

"Did I say twice? I meant that."

Richie walked to a boy in a yellow long-sleeve shirt, Terry Oak, seemingly ignoring his ankle, "Salutations-"
But he was cut off, Terry laid his hand over his mouth, "No." he said, motioning a zipper.
Terry held three fingers up then smiled evily, then removed his hand.

Richie stared at Terry.

(Alright, major Oak time)

"Alright, thank you very much! Yes, alright then. Ah, it's good to see that you three are here, Gary, Larry, Terry! And I see you've brought your friends, very good. The more the merrier!"

Professor Oak came waking in, at first addressing someone outside, then addressing everyone inside, then placing a suitcase on a table, and opening to to reveal a number of Pokeballs.

"Yes I figured that this would happen, that's why I asked for more Pokemon, you see. Take one one you'd like, all six of you."

"Okay, Professor, I'll take this one, Charmander is it?" Richie said, picking up a Pokeball, labelled with a fire symbol.

Terry budged Richie to the side and swiftly picked up a Pokeball labelled with a water symbol, "Water." he said bleakly.

"Tch- Hmm, I'll name you, Chop Seui." Richie said happily.

"Marsh." Terry said to the Pokeball.

"Looks like I don't have to go off on my own, then." Kloud smiled and picked up a Pokeball with a small water symbol on the front. She opened the ball, and a Squirtle popped out. "Henry." "Squirt!" Henry seemed more than pleased with his new master. Gary butted in.

"This one's mine!" He snagged a Pokeball with a leaf symbol on it. "It doesn't need a nickname to be good."

"I'll take this one." Kinfin grabbed a Pokeball with a Leaf Symbol. He called upon the Pokemon within, to reveal a Bulbasaur.

"Now what to call you..." Kinfin's thought returned to his argument with Larry. "Ant eh? Alright, I'll call you Antonio."

"Then I'm taking this one!" Larry Snagged a Pokeball with a Fire Symbol, then proceed to chuckle rather jackassedly.

"Good, Good, you've all made excellent choices. be sure to take very good care out there, it's a dangerous world, and if your Pokemon take too much of a beating you'll be heading to Lavender Town, posthaste."

(So, it's clear about the personalities of the Oak bros.
Terry; The Obnoxious One-worder.
Gary; The Straightforward Jerk.
Larry; The Laughing Jackass.
Kinda like Fu-jin, Seifer, and Rai-jin, respectively.)

"Hmph." Terry grunted as he glared at Richie, "Battle." He sent out Marsh.

"Tch-" Richie backed up, then sent out Chop Seui, "Go, Scratch!"

"Tackle."

(Clash of epic proportions battle music. Oh, and battle skip.)

"Hmph." Terry grunted as he stormed out of the lab.

(Yeah, I'd say that's about right.
And FYI, Kloud's gone for the night)

"It's unavoidable so let's just fight."

"That's the smartest thing you've said in your life."

The Growls Tackles and Scratches were flying like insane, and a critical hit saved Kinfin from pain.

"Grrr, you'd best be looking out."

"But after ever fight with me, you're just going to pout."

(Oh my god. Did I just do that?
That was annoying as a gen I Zubat.
This whole damn post might as well be rap music
But it came natural so I might as well use it.

By the way, since I don't want to mess up my unintentional rhyming, the dialog goes Larry then Kinfin both times. I figured I might was well just do this to prevent confusion. I've been listening to Pokemon Cyphers all day. So that might explain the lyrical battle)

"What's there deal? I don't even know them!" Richie asked, he turned to Chop Seui, who was lying on the ground, as would a Slaking, "Chop Seui, you alright?"
No response, Chop Seui had fallen asleep.

Kloud started to walk away.

"Hey! Even if my brothers can't take you losers out, I can sure take you out!" Gary said, running after Kloud. She turned around to face him. They locked eyes for a moment.

"Alright then." Kloud shrugged and Henry ran out in front of her. Gary let Bulbasaur out of it's ball. Tackles were exchanged, and before soon, Henry was looking ragged.

"Hah! You'd better be ready to go to the Pokemon Tower if you're going to be so weak." Gary said snidely. Kloud just smiled and opened her bag. She had the Potion from her PC! She healed Henry, who was ready to continue on now.

"Tch." Gary looked irritated. Henry then had one final Tackle, and the battle was over. Gary ran after his brothers without a word. Kloud gave Henry a hug. "Good job, Henry!"

Richie returned Chop Seui to his Pokeball, "What an unexpected turn of events..." Richie said, he turned to Kloud, "Shouldn't we get going?"

"Hey, not inviting me?"

"You are a person who saved from captivity, so naturally, I'm indebted to you, you can accompany me on my journey around the world." Richie said, "Now, shall we."

Kloud raised an eyebrow at Richie's lofty words. "Right. Let's! We can make an adventure out of it."

"Indeed." Richie said, opening the door, a bead of sweat rolling down his face, as if holding back the urge to limp, "L-lets."

(Richie's speech and mannerisms are side-effects of him being practically a prisoner in his own home.)

"In that case, TO CINNABAR ISLAND! Wait, I can't swim. TO VERIDIAN CITY!"

"Speaking of which, Cinnabar Island has a Fossi Lab doesn't it? I wish to visit there as well." Richie said, walking through Pallet Town, he glanced at his house and scoffed.

As the trio approached the exit to town, there was a holler.

"WAIT DON'T GO INTO THE- Oh, whoops, it's just you three. Right, carry on then. Carry on."

"What was that about? Anyway. Let's go."

"Um. Yeah." Kloud scratched the back of her head. "Let's head to Viridian then. I want to buy some Pokeballs. Nobody gets far with a team of one."

(Since mentioning the trip is boring, in the style of Electrical Beast: TELLIPOR)

"Now where's the store in this town?"

Stores have Blue Roofs (The help menu in action)

"Look for a blue roof."

"There, you two can get supplies, I'm going to train instead." Richie said as he stayed in Route 1, sending out Chop Seui.

(I always use Route 1 to get my starter to L10.)

Kloud shook her head before glancing back to Kinfin. "Well, shall we?" She looked around before running up to the Mart. "Blue roof, so here it is. Maybe if we're lucky, they'll be having a sale..."

"Looks like it. After you, Blondie." Kinfin triggered the automatic door and took a courteous 'after you' pose.

"Pffft." Kloud made a face before going inside.

"Hey, you! Yes, you!" Kloud looked over, confused. "You're from Pallet Town, right? Can you deliver this package to Professor Oak?"

"Um, isn't that your job...?" Kloud said warily.

"If you don't deliver it, I won't sell you anything." The clerk said flatly. Kloud glared at the clerk and took the package.

"Wonder what's inside...." She tilted the box.

"Done, Level 10 right?" Richie said as he returned Chop Seui, "I should regroup with the neighbor children."
He headed towards Viridian.

"I mean, who gives young people an important delivery? Who's to say we wouldn't just steal it?" Kloud said while shaking the box slightly. She sighed and shook her head. "But I'm no thief. Well... I should head back to Pallet Town to give the Professor this." She glanced back to Kinfin, holding the door open. "So, what are your travel plans? It'd be nice if us three could team up. Safety in numbers and all, right?"

"Oh, hello, Kloud was it? I have finished my training." Richie said, he looked at the box, "What's in the box?"

"I go where the wind takes me. For now, let's just call that with you... and what IS in that box?"

"Yeah. Hi, Richie." Kloud said, quickly glancing in his direction before turning back to the box. "Awesome. I've got a traveling companion!" Kloud made a pose much like one you might see in a video game before coming back to sanity. "Hm? Well, I think Professor Creepy would be mad if we opened it..."

"For Dr. Demon, eh? Well, backwards trip here we go."

(If you're wondering why he called Prof Oak Dr. Demon, what else could spawn that which Spawned the Oak Bros.?)

"We should take that package to the Professor, shouldn't we?" Richie asked, "It'd be a good use of time."

Kloud nodded and shifted the package in her hands before heading back towards Pallet Town, leaping over the ledges to get there more quickly.

Kinfin approached the first of the many cliffs on the way back.

"Okay, you can do this, it's like what 11 feet? You can do this, no problem. Okay, just breathe. In. Out. In. Out. In. Out. VERTIGO!!!" And with that, Kinfin recklessly jumped down the first cliff, and fell down the second, and third, and fourth and so on.

"GAHDAMMIT! I hate those things."

Kloud broke out laughing. "Hahahahaha! What, scared, Kinny?" She dashed in to Pallet Town, waiting.

Kinfin got back to his feet, shaking off his encounter with the cliffs.

"Yeah well... wait, did she call me  'Kinny'? That's... hey Blondie, slow down!"

And with that, Kinfin hurried after Kloud back to Pallet.

Richie, instead of jumping the "cliffs", walked calmly around, through the grass. He eventually ended up in Pallet town, "Children, the Professor awaits our arrival."

"Pfft, I'm older than you, ya know..." Kloud said to Richie, a look of irritation on her face. "Well, let's get this over with." She looked to Kinfin, then to Richie, and walked into the Lab, only to see... The Oak Brothers!

"Hey, Gary, Terry, look. It's those clowns who think they're big shots because they got a few lucky hits."

"Says the pompous moron"

"Heh heh heh." Gary chuckled. "Not like they'll get off so easily next time, that's for sure."

"As much as I enjoy your company, I'm afraid I'm here on a mission." Kloud said, her voice filled with disdain. She held the package up, Legend of Zelda style, before handing it to the Professor.

"Ah, my custom Pokeball! Thank you!" Oak said cheerfully. "Well, since you three are here... How would you like to help me with my Pokedex project as well?"

"Gramps! You said we'd be helping you with that. You don't need the help of those losers." Gary said, crossing his arms.

Oak shook his head. "I think they'd be able to help, Gary. Besides, I have enough for all of you!" Oak rushed over to his desk and grabbed the Pokedexes and some Pokeballs, giving each of them a Pokedex and five Pokeballs. "I'm much too old to achieve my dream of completing the Pokedex, but you kids..." Oak smiled warmly. "I have a feeling you can do it."

"Hmph." Terry scoffed, He glared at Richie, then to Kloud and Kinfin, "Amateurs."

"Are you picking a fight?" Richie asked.

"Maybe."

Richie scoffed, then walked the Prof., grabbing some Pokeballs.

Kloud and Gary locked eyes for a moment before Gary looked away. "You're not worth it. Not yet." He headed out the door.

Kloud shook her head. "So... Um, Richie. Kinfin said he'd like to travel with me, and I figure that if you'd like to come along too, that'd work well. Whatcha say?"

"As long as you guys don't obscure my route around Kanto, I'm okay with letting you two accompany me." Richie said with a warm smile.

"Then it's settled. A dynamic trio traveling the region!"

Kinfin gave everyone a thumbs up.

Kloud nodded before turning back to the Professor. "Thank you, Professor!" She bowed slightly before dashing out of the Lab and taking a deep breath of the crisp Kanto air.

"I should probably try to catch some more Pokemon..." Kloud said, thinking a moment before running north, into the grass. A Rattata appeared! Kloud sent out Henry. Henry tackled the Rattata and got a critical hit, immediately knocking the Rattata out. Kloud frowned. "Tone it down a bit, huh...?" Henry gave her a sad look. "Augh! Don't be sad! Um... We can always try again later. You're just a little toughie, huh? Let's wait for the others to catch up. I'm sure they're getting tired of me running ahead."

Kinfin tried to keep up, when he and Antonio encountered a Rattata as well.

"Alright, let's go!"

Tackles were flying until Kinfin threw a Pokeball.

Enter Rachel, the Hardy Female Rattata.

"Booyah."

Richie raised an eyebrow at how energenic Kloud was, he pulled a pen and notepad from his pocket and scribbled on it, the words read, "Kanto Notes: Route 1: Boring and bland. Pokemon: Rattata and Pidgey. Allies made: Kloud, Kinfin, and Chop Seui..."
Richie continued to walk, still scribbling, when a Pidgey took roost atop Richie's head, "Hm? Oh, a Pidgey, Chop Seui, do you mind? Wait- no, I got this."

Richie took out a Pokeball and tossed it upwards, landing on the Pidgey's head.

Three turns, click!

"Cinnamon."

"Come onnnnnn!" Kloud shook her head. "I can't fall behind you two! Not gonna happen!" Henry looked up. "Well, I guess that's that, huh?" Kloud trudged up through the grass, until she reached Viridian City. She looked to her left, eying the route. "You thinking what I am, Henry?" Henry nodded. "Hey! Kinny, Richie! You two coming with?"

"Affirmative. I just need to record the route, you can go ahead." Richie said, studying the route.

"I'm right behind you, Blondie. I can train Rachel later."

"My name's Kloud..." Kloud said before jumping into the grass. A Spearow flew out at her. "Yeeks!! Henry, help!!""

Henry used Bubble, then Tackle. Kloud threw a Pokeball, and after a few shakes, it clicked. She sighed in relief. "Let's see... Male Spearow, Hasty, Level three... I'll call you Lester!" She jumped right into training after that.

"I still feel like calling you Blondie."

One encounter later.

Enter Trish, the Naughty Female Mankey.

"Hmm... Now's later."

"That's right, I forgot to check Cinnamon's capabilities, Bold Female, Level two." Richie said, "Hmm."

Richie shuffled about in the area of grass, and came across a Rattata, "Tch-! Chop Seui, Ember, if you please."

"Char!"

Critical Hit!!
Rattata fell.

"I should train." Richie said, letting out Cinnamon, in a tone as if he could care less about the fallen Pokemon.

"..." Kloud looked sadly over at the Rattata Richie just downed before turning back to her own Pokemon and continuing to train. Soon enough, her Pokemon were overleveled enough where she felt safe to continue on.

"Alright. Level 7 everywhere. That'll be enough to last for a little while. Onward."

Enter Shane the, Adament Male Pidgy.

"Dammit."

An annoying period of time later.

"Alright. NOW onward. Through the Veridian Forest."

"Route two should yield some better results." Richie said, encountering another Rattata, "Not much point to felling another one."

Kloud ran after Kinfin and Richie. "So, you mean we're going through that place...? But it's infected with bugs!" Kloud looked disgusted. "Ugh, I'm itching just thinking about it. Do either of you have some insect repellant, I could-"

A shrill bird call cut her off. A Pidgey swooped at her face, knocking her back. "What the hell?! Henry, get out here!"

Henry dashed and tackled, and Kloud threw a Pokeball. "A Bold male, eh? I'll call you Vince. Too bad you're redundant, though.. I don't need two birds on the same team. I guess I'll just box you once we get to Pewter..." Kloud shook her head and smiled. "Good job, though, Henry~ Let's go!"

"Aw, bugs aren't all that bad, Blondie. Some of them are awesome looking and others help the area."

Enter Daisy, the Calm Female Caterpie.

"See, like this one. Sure, for now she's just a little ol' Caterpie. But eventually, she'll be a real service to nature, and as of now, my team."

This was Kinfin's fifth Pokemon that he'd caught and the fifth one he's dubbed a full timer.

"Better do what I can to help edge that process along... Eh, the training as we pass through the forest will do, I'm sure."

Richie followed suit, finding a Weedle, "Hm? You look promising. Cinnamon, Tackle." Richie said, catching the Weedle.

New: Spaghetti, Brave Female Weedle.

"Neighbor boy, it seems our luck is conspiring in our favor." Richie said to Kinfin, "Weedle and Caterpie, counterpart Pokemon, Miss Kloud, you have yet to catch your Pokemon."

"...Do I have to....?" Kloud looked around, obviously irritated. "This is less than ideal." She sighed and walked into the grass, Henry at her heels. The grass swooshed around a bit before they returned, Kloud with a look of terror on her face as her new male Relaxed Weedle, Weed, was crawling over her arm. "Get it off get it off!!!!" she shrieked, trying to shake it off as it held on for dear life. Henry pressed the button on Weed's Pokeball and returned him, and Kloud regained her composure. "Um... Ha ha... Yeah." She looked embarrassed.

"Entomophibic much, Blondie?"

Kinfin then began to chuckle hardily.

"..." Kloud glared at Kinfin for a moment before rushing on. "They're just gross, alright? Anyways... Lester will keep me safe through the rest of the forest. Right, buddy?"

She let Lester out of his Pokeball. The little Spearow chirped happily.

"It's fine. Just keep this in mind. Bugs like these ones are still growing. Speaking of, Daisy, let's get to the power montage as we travel through the pla- did you see that? I think I saw a yellow blur? Aw well. What was I saying? Oh yeah, power montage. Let's kick it!"

"I've been training since Kloud's freak out, Spaghetti's a Kakuna now." Richie said, letting out Spaghetti, the Kakuna, "Yellow Blur? Must be your lusterless imagination."

"..Uh... Uh huh." Kloud nodded and began training herself, walking through the forest alongside her neighbors. "Hey... Where do you guys hope to end up? As Trainers, I mean."

"The strongest in the world, the Champion, that is my goal as a trainer." Richie said, "To become stronger than anyone, so nothing can keep me in isolation ever again. You?"

"I aspire to see all there is to see. I wish to examine the greatest of beauties, I hope to witness the greatest of awes. Which of course means... I'm gonna have to see just what kind of powers there are out there. And that mean a challenge with the Dragon Master Lance."

Kloud looked away shyly. "Well... I can't claim to high aspirations like you two. I just wanted to go on a journey. You know, leave Pallet, see the sights. I can give the Gyms a shot, sure, but I'd be happy just making more friends."

"Good answer, though, I will be the Champion of all regions, not just Kanto, but the others along with it." Richie said with an ambitiousness that shifted to righteousness, "The world will know a Champion like no other."

Richie blinked, then hid his head in his shirt, "Ugh, I apologize! I should know not to aspire that far." He lifted his head, turning to Kloud, "That's it?"

"Honestly, I wish I didn't want to do what I do. It's the blood talking I suppose. Hey, Look, Daisy's evolving!"

"If I become a great Trainer, that's fine. But it isn't my goal." Kloud looked to Lester. "I'm happy just doing what I'm doing..." She made a face when a Weedle came over. Lester quickly swooped down and took care of it as Kloud turned to watch Daisy evolve, her eyes wide.

"Yup. Metapod. Still not in her full luster, but it's proof that these bugs are still growing. As is Richie's Kauna. YOu sure you're not gonna work with your Weedle?"

"You two can go ahead some, I'm going to evolve Spaghetti another time before I proceed." Richie said, walking through the forest.

Kloud shook her head. "I know I should... But... I just can't bring myself to." She laughed nervously before nodding to Richie. "Alright. I'm going to battle a few Bug Catchers before moving on."

"Meh, I'll battle whoever I come across, but I wanna get through here to Pewter. I'm really interested in the museum."

(That put me at a level 9 average just FYI)

(Levels: CS(15), Cinnamon(12), Spaghetti(11) at end of Forest. fyi)

Richie shuffled through the grass, but couldn't find anymore Pokemon for the longest time, "Sigh, I'd better regroup with the Neighbor children."

Kloud wiped her forehead off and smiled. "Uff... You guys did good." She glanced around, wanting to find her companions before departing the forest.

((Henry and Lester are around level 13-ish, the others haven't been touched since capture lol))

"Kloud! Neighbor boy! Where did you head off too!?" Richie called, searching for his comrades.

"Just walking down the path singing do wa diddy diddy dum diddy do." Kinfin called back at Richie, who had clearly fallen behind.

((BEHIND!? You sir, is who's behind!!))

"About time, how long did you plan on making me wait?" Richie asked.

(We were ahead, see?)

"But I digress. Shall we get going already? As beautiful as nature is, I grew up in society, and thus, I'd prefer not taking forever to get to the next town."

(I thought you meant training)

"You grew up in the laziest town in the world." Richie said, "I did manage to evolve Spaghetti so I have no reason to be pessimistic anymore for awhile. Let's go."

Richie walked in and out of the gate, finding himself in a greyish town, "Pewter City, I presume?"

"Uh huh." Kloud nodded. "It looks kinda old. I heard they have an awesome Museum here, though!"

"But of course. Relics of the past, brought from the depth of the earth here for us to learn from. And even more, they also have machines that represent the future as well. It's the perfect combination of how thing were and how they will be brought together to educate and inspire. I love museums. And while I prefer art museums, this is a great variety as well."

"Kinny, you're... Kind of a nerd." Kloud said, laughing before dashing ahead. She had recalled Lester and now it was Henry running at her heels.

"Hey, wait for us Blondie! You coming or what?" And with that, Kinfin chased after Kloud.

"Sigh... They expect me to tag along in childish games." Richie said, following them, "I might as well play with them, they could aid me to my Championship."

Kloud stopped and turned around near the entrance to the Museum and laughed before sticking her tongue out. "Whaaat? Can't keep up~?" Kloud made a cute face before looking to Henry.

"Yeah, well I-" Wild Pidgy appeared. "Daisy, get rid of this poser."

A few seconds later...

What? Daisy's evolving?

"Daisy! Look at you! You're a Butterfree! See, I told you that all it took was time. Anyway, museum time."

Richie stopped about a yard away from Kloud, gasping heavily, "Huff, huff, Of, course I can, this, huff, is merely, huff-" Richie dropped to his knees, looking painfully exhausted, "C-curse my low stamina...!" He muttered.

Kloud walked over to Richie and helped him into a seated position, a look of concern on her face. "You gonna be okay...?"

Henry batted at Daisy playfully.

"A, minor setback, and one of my biggest flaws." Richie said, "I don't get out much."

Richie stumbled to his feet, "I'm okay, the Gym awaits, shall I- I mean, we, go challenge it?"

"But... Um..." Kloud looked around awkwardly. "I kind of wanted to go check out the Museum... I'll be quick, promise." She nodded before scooping Henry up.

"Alright, I'll be at the gym." Richie said.

"Enjoy yourself Rich." Kinfin smugly said as he followed Kloud.

Kloud turned to Kinfin. "What do you want to look at?"

"The main exhibit is the fossils, then there's that shuttle, but whatever you wanna check out, I'm game for."

"Pewter Gym, this should be easy." Richie said, walking into the gym.

Meeting with his first gym trainer, Richie glared at a boy who seemed overconfident, "So, you think you have the audacity to stand in my way?"

"You're a thousand light-years from facing Brock!" the boy said.

"Whatever." Richie shrugged, "Go, Chop Seui."

The battle was over as quickly as it had started, "What did you learn?" Richie said to the boy. A white light caught his eye, Chop Seui was evolving! A now freshly evolved Charmeleon stood next to Richie, "This makes the challenge easier."

Richie stood before the Gym Leader of Pewter City, Brock, "Well, you look like a promising challenger." Brock said.

"Don't patronize me, I'm here to claim the Boulderbadge." Richie said, he lifted his hand, covering his left eye, "As the aspiring, 'Champion of the World', all obstacles shall be crushed under my heel. Let's battle!"

Gym Leader Brock wants to battle.
Gym Leader Brock sent out Geodude.
Richie sent out Chop Seui.

"Chop Seui. Metal Claw!" Richie said as his Pokemon attacked the other, the Geodude, holding on by a strand.
"Geodude! Tackle!" Brock yelled as Geodude rushed the Charmeleon, resulting in less-than-satisfactory amount of damage.

"Take it out. Metal Claw." Richie said, the Pokemon fell from the hit, "Please tell me you have a stronger Pokemon."

"No problem! Onix! Come on!" Brock yelled, sending out his esteemed "stronger Pokemon", Onix.

"Chop Seui, repeat." Richie said as Chop Seui slashed at the Onix, scoring a critical hit, felling the mighty Pokemon, "Hmph, don't speak, just give me the badge." Brock handed the Boulderbadge to Richie, Richie left the gym, heading to the museum to meet with the others.

"The fossil exhibit sounds nice." Kloud said, paying for her entrance. Henry had nodded off in her arms.

"Then we're off. And don't worry, I'll pick up the fee for the tickets. It's only proper after all."

"Oi!! Neighbor children!!" Richie shouted as they payed for their tickets, "I obtained the badge, hurry up and follow suit!"

"Sir, quiet down please." a museum attendant said.

"Tch- Fine, I might as well purchase a ticket." Richie said, buying said ticket.

Kloud smiled and nodded. "Thanks, Kinny, that's so-" She stopped when Richie barged in. "We're older than you, dumbass." She said, sounding somewhat irritated. "Anyways, let's just enjoy the exhibit, alright? We can get our badges after."

"So impatient. Live a little. You'll live longer if you do. Afteral- AWESOME! They have a completely reconstructed Areodactyl skeleton! This is magnificent!"

"You are still your parents' child, and my neighbor, ergo, Neighbor Children." Richie said, catching up to the others, "This place is pretty boring."

"Surely you jest. Look at this! A fully reconstructed Kabutops in perfect condition! Remnants of millions of years in the past!"

"Um, right...." Kloud looked away awkwardly. "Well, it's been interesting, but maybe we should head to the Gym in a few."

"Not at all. I'd rather get the badges then pay attention to boring statues." Richie said, checking his Dex.

"Fine. I see how it is. In that case... YOU'RE BOTH GONNA HAVE TO BEAT ME!" And with that, Kinfin burst out of the museum to the gym.

"Hey, not one more-"

"Antonio! Vine Whip!"

'Light-years' Later

"Eh, okay challenger. I'm Brock, the leade3r of this gym and-"

"Enough small talk!"

"Right, Geodude! ... Why aren't you sending out your Bulbasaur?"

"... I have a Mankey, Trish, Low Kick!"

"Uhhhh, Onyx!

"Low Kick!"

"Hmm, okay, here's your Boulder Badge. It allows use of the Move Flash out of battle, and your Pokemon are all a little stronger now that you have it."

"How the hell does it do that?"

"Honestly, I have no idea..."

"Kinny, waaiiiiit!" Kloud yelled, dashing after him. She got to the Gym just in time to see Trish take down Onix. She took a deep breath and headed up to the first trainer of the gym, quickly using Henry's Water Gun to take them out. She walked up and saw the badge in his hand.

"Heyyy! You beat Brock. Well, can't let ourselves get shown up now, can we, Henry?" "Squirt!"

"Best of Luck Blondie. You won't need it."

"Isn't that a tad uncalled for?"

"Nope. You suck."

"Harsh." Kloud said, scratching the back of her head. She turned to Brock and nodded. "I'm Kloud. Let's battle."

Two Water Guns later, the battle was over and Kloud had the Badge.

"Come on, Kinny! I betcha Richie is leaving without us, right now!!"

"Knowing that guy's smartassery, I'm sure. After you."
