Tyrantrum, Blaziken, Venusaur and Greninja all level 54 after beating the 7th gym.

I'm wondering whether to pick Tyrunt or Aurorus, they both fill a rock type need, but while Tyrunt's Dragon typing gives me more fire power, Aurorus' Ice typing gives me a Dragon type counter that I don't have currently;

Kirlia (While evolving into Gardevoir would give me a Dragon counter with it's fairy typing, It's a male though and I was planing on evolving it into Gallade for a Fighting type, Gardevoir would probably be the best fit and I can pick Tyrunt, but I'm kinda reluctant to have a male Gardevoir,  :P though it doesn't really matter. Or I could just box it and find a different Psychic type.)

With Kirlia, you have a dragon Counter. Especially after the Fairy Gym's TM. Besides, then you get a Mr. Bitey if you go Tyrunt.

You wouldn't mind if I assumed you used the Exp Share would you?
So when I played through Y, I noticed that my Pokemon's levels were all tragically lower than most everyone else's.
Apparently, the Exp Share gave 50% to your whole team and 100% to your lead.
I didn't know that
So I thought I was doing a bad job as a trainer, or at least in comparison to the others, but I found it odd that I was always on par or higher level than the Gym Leaders.
Why would they make such an easy game easier with the Megablaziken AND an ultimate leveling convenience? There already isn't enough to do post game, so why make the player hurry so much?

Yeah I realised half way round that my team was underlevelled too, so I turned the EXP Share on and my levels rocketed sky-high.

In some ways it is good, but it does make the game far too easy.

It would have replaced that Frogadier on my team.

I got the fossil traded over from my Y to X thanks to James being the courier.  I traded over it as a fossil and not as a Pokémon so it doesn't get boosted.  Until you beat the champion the only fossils you can find in the rocks are Aerodactyls but when you win then a whole ton of other fossils show up to and I wanted to use a Kabutops in my X team.

In order:

Chespin > Quillidan > Chesnaught

Torchic > Combusken > Blaziken

Squirtle > Wartortle > Blastoise

Ralts > Kirlia > Gardevoir (female)

Tyrunt > Tyrantrum

Staravia > Staraptor

lol if you switch Chesnaught and Blastoise for Greninja and Venusaur then your team is identical to mine :P

Also for this run I will refrain from battling wild Pokemon barring stationary/legendary Pokemon. If I want to grind then I must use the Chateau.

lol why would you ever want to grind in XY when the exp share gives you like 1000000000000000 exp per battle :P
