Steel, I'm normally a very passive person, but I do have my limits. So either fix the forum, or I'll track your ass down, strap an explosive to you and throw you in a river, and when the explosive goes off, people will think it was just a failed terrorist act. Seriously, you better have saved everything you took off the forum.

I know why this has happened, so I'm not gonna say it. But yes, Steel will be fixing things on his own tonight or tomorrow.

EDIT: Also, wanted to say a few things.

1. Furries in general hate people who abuse animals, or people who have sex with them. Yes, there a few freaks out there, but you can find them in any fandom if you look. On your average furry forum/site (provided you don't go onto some sort of porn site), the conversations are pretty...normal. xD
2. Otherkin and furries are two different animals. Furries are, by definition, people who are fans of anthropomorphic critters. Otherkin, however, truly believe that they are an animal or anthropomorphic creature trapped in a human body (sort of like a transgendered person, except with species). Otherkin can also believe that they are something that is not real (think a dragon, a faerie, etc). Otherkin can be furry, but not all furries are otherkin (in fact, most aren't- they're considered freaks).

So in summary- otherkin are batshit crazy, there is no real healthy way to be an otherkin. On the other hand, furry can be a hobby just like any other interest (very few people are what we call "lifestylers", which are people who go way overboard and take the fandom way too seriously- most furries just have a general interest and don't alter their lives/habits for the fandom).

Sorry, I just wanted to clear this up. I know this is a joke, but as a furry, I wanted to provide the truth of the matter as well. :3

Just like Daniel did, I felt guilty being a straight white male and because of my persecution complex, I decided I needed to be part of a minority but not like a real minority cos that's too hard, just one persecuted enough for me to complain about it on the internet if somebody makes fun.  Thus I became a furry, but not like a real furry.  If I see anything furry related I get creeped out but srsly guys I am one and I'm going to mention it on skype every three seconds to remind you of it.  If you tell me to stop I'm gonna get real mad, rage-quit and block you from everything while I let my horrible parents continue their devil worshiping without doing anything about it while removing the friends who wanted to be supportive.  Totally a furry you guys.  Starfox for the win man, but not like the popular ones.  The low rated ones yeah *hipster*. Also I like Star Wars but I don't like R2D2 and prefer the expanded Universe to the films even though the only expanded universe stuff I've played are the video games and I ignore all the books, comics and stuff.  So basically I'm just like Daniel now.

It's not a choice. I was born this way.

He doesn't mean it racially, he's just having difficulty explaining how this prank made him feel, and since the nice time he tried he was given heck for having a hard time finding words, he's not too inclined to try again.

From what I can collect, he feels uncomfortable because it feels like a furry site now. While he doesn't mind furries, he says he wouldn't go out of his way to join a furry website because he isn't a furry. He has a tendency to take jokes too seriously, especially when he's teased further when he tries to explain why it bothers him.

What I'm trying to say is, I think you guys have scared off someone who has been an active member.

And this isn't just about Kinfin. You've scared the shit out of Miku, and deeply offended Daniel too. I'm not saying these people are completely in the right, but I do think that, as our friends, we should respect them. Otherwise we're just going to end up killing out own forum. We need all the active members we can get. Does it look like we have people who are disposable at this point?

I'm sorry I forgot that steel was muslim which makes it racist. But anyone of any ethnicity can be a terrorist you know. Besides, when you're on the internet, you're not always seeing people's race, and honestly, steel's religion isn't that important. He's a human being first and a muslim second and I apologize if that's offensive.

but it's not really a furry site now, it's an april fools joke that will change back.  There is no reason to feel uncomfortable because it's just pretending for a little bit.  I get freaked out a bit by it too but I found it funny after I realised what it was.  Why would somebody think this was real, on april 1st no less? xD  also Daniel is offended by everything and wasn't going to come back here anyway because he didn't like anyone.  He spent forever complaining about the site and how it wasn't fun anymore.  I don't think Miku was gonna come back either, so I don't think it scared them off; because they had left anyway.  But yeah guys let's just change this back since it's the 2nd now.

And as for Daniel, he needs to learn what criticism is. Or to respond to it in a more mature way. I mean, this thing has been going on forever, I left the Skype group like 6 months ago and he was always leaving the conversation whenever we would say anything he didn't agree with. This takes it to the extreme, but I'll be honest I had a good laugh thanks to Aryeh's post.
And about Miku, I talked to her on Facebook few days ago, we talked for like 2 hours about super interesting philosophical and scientific stuff. I just think she's not really into the whole forum stuff anymore, and truthfully I'm not either. I connect everyday hoping to be part of great discussions because I don't feel like talking about my day over and over again.

I feel disrespected. Firstly, at first I didn't know it was a prank. April Fools day always catches me by surprise and it's my least favorite/most hated holiday, so I thought steel randomly decided to overhaul the place. Secondly, the joke should be dead by now anyway. It was clearly a shock value prank that in my opinion, should have been undone by noon that day, and I still feel uncomfortable since it's still going on. Third, I find it appalling that the life of a joke is more important that people's feelings to you guys. I'm in a state of severe discomfort and Daniel was legitimately offended. At that point, dragging the joke on is just being a dick to us. Seriously.

I'm actually fixing it now, and another thing Daniel being used as defence doesn't count. He loved until he found out loom was involved. He had a personal reason for it, so your kinda the only one who didnt initially find it funny.

and yeah guys, from what I heard, Daniel found it funny when he thought it was just Zohaib's idea but when he heard Loomy was involved, he got mad because he has this unreasonable dislike of everything Loomy does.  Though he doesn't really like anyone it seems, he's complained about pretty much everybody here multiple times.  It got pretty annoying having to defend people every time Daniel moaned about them -_- so yeah I don't think he'll be back since he spent all his time moaning about us.  It's a shame cos I wanted really badly for the old nicer Daniel to come back but he got mean.

Steel made lcom into LudiPaw for an april fools joke. He made some peoples names some random furry name, the theme was made furry, kinfins autism made his rage, we laughed, was fun.

I saw that, but why did people leave.

I guess daniel gets offended by everything, hates loom, and makes every conversation about how much of a furry he is.

they had already left weeks ago and kinfin was worried this would stop them coming back even though they already said they weren't planning on coming back.
if anything this little joke got a few more posts that day than we usually get :P
