Ya when i see otacom i dont think of otaku, i was looking through the title when i looked for a manga thread and saw this title but thought it was something else, try changing it and see if you get more people in here

Right now I'm reading a manga series called Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, its like a horror psychological mystery manga that is made of 8 main story arcs, the thing that makes it interesting is that while each individual(other than number 4) story arc is at the core the same, parts of it are different, like in each one other than the last almost all the main characters dies but the order, how, and who kills them is different in each one.

Has anyone heard of this manga or happen to have read it, i am having problems finding some of the parts,
i cant find Higurashi no Naku Koro ni ~ Matsuribayashi chapters 15 - 23, they exist in japan but i cant find them on any sites
same with Higurashi no Naku Koro ni ~ Tsumihoroboshi chapters after chapter 6 exist in japan but i cant find them anywhere translated into english

But yeah, definitely the manga is better. The anime stops at 1/3 of the original story and then spew bs.
If you read the manga though, you could watch the ovas since the ovas are teh awesomeness.

Deadman Wonderland - This one is awesome. Definitely worth watching. Gory though.
Digimon Frontier - I hadn't watched it yet so I downloaded it. The animation sucks but the story is cool.
Evangelion 1.0 and 2.0 - The remake of the series in 4 movies. The 3rd one should come out soon. Amazing remake. Not like the other movies which were more like retelling of the same story. These have some major plot twists.
Ano Hana - This one is the best Drama I have ever watched out of any media!
C - The animation and style were cool but the story seemed rushed. 11 episodes weren't enough but the ratings were low so they took it down.
Digimon Xros Wars - The first half of the latest series. It has the awesomest animation of any Digimon series and it beats most shounen series too. The story for the first half was cool. The second half is more like fan-service.
Kami Nomi 2 - Just like the first one, this one was epic. If you don't know, that's "The World God Only Knows".
X-Men - Out of the 3 that are complete (Iron Man, Wolverine and X-Men), this one was the better. But it still doesn't beat most original Japanese series.

As for what I am currently watching...

Steins;Gate - This one has to be my favorite this season. It's about time travelling but in a more serious sci-fi way. Not like those fantasy shounen.
Chaos;Head - From the same guys as Steins;Gate. It's cool and I really like it but the main character is a pain from episodes 1 to 10 and considering it only has 12 episodes, it's like or don't like.
Digimon Xros Wars: Aku no Death General - The second half. It really focuses on friendship more than the first and there's fan-service every episode. Considering Nene's skirt and Mervamon's appearance but also for foes.
Lucky Star - I finally took on this series. It's really funny.
Sacred Seven - One of two new series I took. I love the hero's design and I took it mostly because of it but also because the op is sung by Fiction Junction.
Blade - The other new series I took. Completing the 4 anime contract between Marvel and Madhouse. The style for this one is much more American-like than the others.
Tiger & Bunny - Japanese anime superheroes. There's a twist though. Heroes compete in a television program. When they arrest criminals and save civilians, they get points and each of them aim for the trophy of Champion Hero. Lots of CG.

I've been meaning to watch Code Geass, and I watch Cowboy Bebop when it's on on Saturdays.

I'm watching Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya Kun right now, I when to random and it brought me to it, I'm only on the third episode but it's pretty good from what I've seen.
Next on my list is Lucky Star, Code Geass, and others.

While me and one of my friends were watching Index we made a joke out of the fact that the main character beats all of the enemies with a punch, we'd say "Touma Punch!" every time he punched someone.

I started watching and it's no wonder there's no description on ANiDB. After 2 episodes, you still don't know wth is going on.
As a summary, I'll just say this.
There are 2 bros and their sis living together. The girl is very sick and she dies at the beginning.
Although, a miracle happens and some kind of penguin hat revives her. The hat asks them to find the Penguin Drum but no one knows where to find it. Along the 2 brothers, there are 3 penguins that aid them in their quest.
That's about what I know.
That stalker girl is fun but not as much as the penguins. Seriously, I was going to say that HellBrick in Sacred Seven was the best sidekick this season but the penguins beat him.

So yeah, Penguindrum.

In Chaos;Head, you get a "Dellusion Trigger" you can play with to increase or decrease the MC's dellusions thus affecting the story.
In Steins;Gate, you get the "Phone Trigger" which is the Time Travelling item. Well, it's a Phone Microwave that sends SMS to the past.

The World God Only Knows -Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai- both seasons. That show is the awesomest.
If you want a drama, Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai -AnoHana- which is by far the greatest drama I ever watched all medium considered.
Also, not watching Steins;Gate would be a sin although it's not over yet and there's also Tiger & Bunny which is really popular worldwide at the moment but it's not completed either.

Anyways, I just watched episode 4 of Blade and I must say, if this keeps up, Blade is gonna be the worst out of the 4 Marvel animes.
Every episode ends with "The first blade" attack where Blade OH-KOs its foe after being cornered.
And the story is just endless pointless drama too. X-Men was the best.

On the opposite, Tiger & Bunny is as awesome as ever with the 17th episode. The Kotetsu arc may end next episode.

On another note, Pokemon Black & White (USA) finally caught up to where I dropped Pokemon Best Wishes (JP) so I was happy to watch this new episode. I had dropped it cause the schedule was totally screwed and the uploaders on ZOMGAnime were stupid.

Ibuki - She's great, except for the fact that she's lusted over by almost every male character... Not including Yoichi...
Ayame - My favorite of the four sisters! <3 She completely filled the tsundere aspect of the anime!
Chihaya - She was my favorite sister until Ayame's tsundere episodes. xD She's so laid back, and a manga artist! She was a bit too forward with Yoichi though.
Kagome - My least favorite sister -_-". She's such an insignificant character... She did gain my respect one her "character-of-the-day" episode though.

actually, bleach has two arcs left. the first was a few months long and the other about two years. the anime will prolly go on for 9 more years though when you factor in fillers and dbz esque pacing.


he stated this in an interview awhile ago when aizen was getting built up.

i thought he was refering to the manga in that interview(said 10 years it was about a year ago so that means 9 more years)

a year ago he stated his manga was going to end after two more arcs, one of which is ending about now. <_<

I finally stopped procrastinating watching Lucky Star and watched the rest including the OVA... Tsukasa had the greatest fail ever.

i like index and railgun, reminds me of the higurashi arcs, though with less of everyone dying at the end of each arc(if you ever read/watch it make sure to check up on the correct order to read the mangas/watch the anime, because they have parts in them that assume you know something from reading/watching the arc before it)

I've just finished To Aru Kagaku no Railgun S, and I was disappointed. Like, fantastic drawings and scenery and just art in general, but that storyline and that climax could have been a lot better, but then again maybe it's just aimed at a younger audience.

They talked about a 'darkness in the city', which they got more into, in the second half of the season. But in the end the only organisation they take on is literally just a small handful of scientists. I was expecting things to escalate more than that, something that's worth calling a darkness. And the end result of the climax was too good to be realistic.

All those enemies would have, realistically, decimated all those strangers that participated. Also I wish that rocket at the end went off and destroyed the city to make it a 'shit just got real' plot.

Sure, a lot of gamers can relate to him and his poor physique (no offense), I get that. But when someone is watching someone like Haru get someone like- damn I forget- anyways, for something like playing a game and getting lucky it's bound to make them mad or sad that he's so relatable and yet not. It's one thing to make a character that's the pinnacle of perfect in every way, y'know, because they aren't supposed to be seen as something to become, they're seen as a hero for a show. But when a character is created for the sole purpose to appear in the spitting image of the obligatory gaming demographic- to be SO close, but yet SO far.

In short, Haru's a chicken shit.

I like Haru, I like the idea of having a chubby MC, its kinda cute. It's like saying that even short, fat guys can save the world. And there's heaps of loser MCs out there.
