61  General / Social / Kloud and Kinfin Married Today! on: September 04, 2014, 02:52:57 pm
Yep, tied the knot.

If anyone wants to join our celebrating, go to Burger King and get chicken fries like we did xD Either way, good day x3

Of all the kinds of sick I could get on vacation, I hadn't imagined "seasick" would be something I could use to describe myself on vacation xD

i hear it depends on the bar, some give really good oxygen
it's kinda vaguely like a hookah bar, but like
less arab from what i hear
that sounds hilarious

everyones going to college
and im just at home
listening to Earthbound's Onett theme on loop

so peaceful
Some might. I ended up waking up with a stuffy nose, which bled when I blew it to get rid of the snot. And then when I brushed my teeth, I found out that my throat had a crack and was bleeding due to how dry it was.

So in short, maybe it's good for some people, I won't be going to another xD

It was. Today we went to a ton of places- the M&M store, the Coke store, as well as several casinos. Ended up seeing exotic animals at the Mirage. Was fun.

yeah I don't want the fucking government to take down the site or JLaw's lawyers to sue us so im removing the pic

Thank you xD

The fug is an oxygen bar? you did what to the clerk?

Who was the british lady who had a bunch of videos of her getting slapped in the face by her BFs D? Cuz I found her videos to be absolutely hilarious :D
It's a hipster kind of place. Think a bar, but instead of booze they're putting oxygen cannula on you and giving you oxygen. It wasn't really worth doing, I honestly wouldn't recommend it. But I found the clerk hilarious because she was grinding up against us during the treatment trying to get us to leave tips.

First thing less than ten feet after we got off our plane- slot machines. xD

Lots of hurry up and wait- lines for everything, though they go fast usually. Also, went to an oxygen bar mostly out of morbid curiosity. Ended up getting ground against by the clerk (both Kinny and I). Was funny.

you need to be 21 to gamble in vegas...
Yeah, he didn't know.

You can gamble at 18 where we live, so it's a bit different. Everywhere down there has booze so no gambling for Kinny.

But for me... Ahahaha.
67  General / Social / Re: Thread Of Topiclessness [Current Era: TOM R. TOE] on: August 31, 2014, 06:25:16 pm
I meant it more so like if we didn't have baxter we probably would have adopted her but because we did we couldn't.

Yeah...

You finally becoming a strong black woman who don't need no man?
I'm so pale that I have a hard time finding makeup that I can wear xD I'm reeeeally white.

I don't need a man so much as I need a companion. I've always done best in life with a compatible person at my side- regardless of gender or romantic status.

You're more likely to die by falling out of bed than dieing from a plane crash, so theres no reason to be scared or anything.

Used to be so, but in recent years, it's gotten worse. I'm not gonna get into that though- my big worry is more how I'm going to handle the trip itself- I've not had this much time off in years, and I haven't had a chance to cut loose either. So it's more a concern or confusion- a conflict in what I'm used to.

I still need to do Emis route and redo rins route, cuz I'm pretty sure I didnt get rins good ending last time I played it.

Well we went to the animal shelter with out dog baxter to meet the one my uncle wanted to adopt. She wasnt fond of baxter but we chalked that up to him being really excited to meet another dog.

Then we took them outside and she seemed to be warming up to him.

Then we brought out the food and water and found out the dog is VERY aggressive about food and she was barking and growling and being mean about it so we had to cancel the adoption right there.

I feel bad for the lady working there, she almost started crying when we told her what happened.

The dog would make a very good dog if she is the only dog in the house but we wont give up ours for her. :c

To be fair, abandoning your dog to adopt another wouldn't really solve anything- after all, there'd still be a dog at the pound at the end of the day.

Still, sorry to hear that happened, but it sounds like you guys made the best decision you could have given the dogs' behavior.

Tomorrow's the big day. I'm honestly somewhat nervous to be going on a plane again after all these years...

I would if I could ;_;
...You do realize that it's not that pretty by that age, right? Like... I work with the elderly all the time (between when I worked at a nursing home and now where I work, at the hospital) and... It's gross, man. Just gross. Men and women both. x.x

To each their own, I suppose, though. ^^;;

Oh it's more than 'not uncommon' from my experience

Everyone just seems to love the idea of karma and find comfort in the idea that people that receive what they deserve.

But if you try to search for the truth it's so obvious, with all those innocent children in starving countries, slowly moving to find resources to nourish their stick-thin bodies, all because they were unlucky enough to be born there. And that's just one example of unfairness, not saying I can make many other examples but I'm certain lots of them exist.
Oh, trust me, there's tons of examples. I know for a damned fact that the world isn't fair xD

Like I said. I know it's dumb, but it's what I believe. There's a grain of truth to it, to some extent- for example, someone who sells illegal drugs and is involved in less than reputable things is more likely than your average person to end up dead in a ditch. Does it always happen to them? No. Does it never happen to good people? Of course it happens to them sometimes. But it's more... The element you choose to surround yourself with and the things you do affect you and the people around you.

In a sense, the people you interact with are karma/retribution at it's basest form, because if you wrong someone, most people will eventually seek some form of revenge. xD

Oh man. I hate talking in discussions like this x.x

I'm not trying to make anyone else believe in karma. I'm just gonna drop this because it's honestly tiring. xP
71  Pokemon Discussion / Generation 6 / Re: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Announced! on: August 28, 2014, 08:07:03 am
I just pre-ordered the limit edition Steelbook versions of the game that have the cool figures and game case.  I bought OR and two copies of AS because of my three team playthrough xP

http://store.nintendo.co.uk/games-3ds/pokemon-alpha-sapphire-steelbook/10991143.html
Are those available to Americans? I've already got preorders of the basic game, but I think I might just want to get those sexy steelbook editions too x3

To be honest that line was a joke.

I don't believe in any un-scientific things.

I view the world as a system of matter ruled by physics, where the experience of emotions, senses and overall consciousness that occur in sync with extremely specific alignments of matter come from an unknown source.

And anything that isn't compatible with this theory e.g. a magical can-do-almost-anything god, I refuse to believe.
Don't believe in god- agnostic. Your view is a logical one, I give you that much. But it's not uncommon for people to have beliefs like mine. Heck, even religious people have their own 'karma'.

Them: Well, they're an awful person, but at least they'll get what's coming to them in the next life when they go to Hell.

I think it's a comforting thing more than anything else, karma.

If anything the world has the opposite of karma.  A good deed never goes unpunished. Tongue
Lol, I've seen that happen enough to know how true it can be. Overall, I just try and take things as they come, best I can. Not everything you get you'll deserve, but ultimately I try to trust that people will get what they deserve eventually. Not everyone will, and sometimes horrible things happen to good people, though, such is life.

So what I'm saying is- I know it's dumb, I still choose to believe in it because that's what I feel is correct. To each their own. Smiley

Okay so I just killed a moth and put it in the toilet

And apparently it floats so hard I literally cant flush it

Karma is real
You're just now discovering this?

It's the closest thing to a proper religion/belief system I've got. You can get away with some stuff for a while, but it'll always come back to bite ya eventually. Likewise, I've had it pay me back in a positive way too. You get what's coming to you.

At very least, folks should keep it trimmed to a reasonable level. There's nothing sexy (to me, at least) about having to hack your way through the Amazon xP

Just moved into my dorm at college, first night was actually kinda awesome, there was drunken twister, constant jokes, pool and ping pong, pizza, can it be any better?
I wish I had that college experience... ;~; Everyone always goes on about how jealous they are that I was serious and graduated years earlier than I should have, but I just wanted to have fun.

Enjoy and savor it, my friend.

Actually, I guess I can't complain too much. I'm going to get all of my crazies and years of pent up stuff out next week on vacation x3

It's... So cute. <3 Maybe we should start a thread for cute, just for when ya need a warm fuzzy.
