Yeah I just saw pvp.  It's arena pvp I guess. Fair enough. Played the beta on xbox yesterday, its free for all gold member. Absolutely loved it myself, did my playthrough as a Titan and maxed out my character pretty fast, The story seems interesting enough that I already want to follow through on it and finish it, but can't cause beta. the gameplay is borderlands meets halo imo, and that is just fine, the areas are always going to be a challenge, I realized after I nearly died trying to screw around some level one enemies when I was level 8. And the game does good on one thing I always love, and that is making me feel like a badass |

Yeah.
It was also the best animated episodes so far. It looked like a moving painting. He was also left handed. :u
I don't know the art style of those episodes kinda threw me off initially, but grew on me overall in the end. Never noticed the whole left handed thing though. |

I could have sworn it was mentioned he aint fire lord anymore and is basically retired.
It's the best part of this season learning all the backstory of everyone and the air nomads. Too bad we'll never get another wan episode :c
Might have been and they just called him that as a formality. Yeah, I did like the Avatar Wan stuff, always liked the history of the avatars and how they all had different problems to deal with. |

Pretty sure he's the former fire lord now.
Only bumi and iroh managed to stay all powerful in their old age so far. Also I love how we're getting some serious air bender history this season. I love learning about their lore.
I think I heard them still refer to him as lord either way. True. Also have been enjoying the backstory they've been putting into everything like the air bender history and such. |

He probably won't since he's old and not as good as he used to be. I mean he got his ass beat bretty badly earlier.
I know, but still he's the god damned fire lord, one can only hope that the former teacher/attempted assassin of the avatar can hold onto some level of bad ass. Also like how they've gotten the humor back into the series, felt it was a bit lacking in season two compared to one and three. |

You don't need people to play with. It can be played solo.
And there are no lobbies. You just enter a game with random people.
You can invite people though before entering the match.
There's no pvp either.
Not in beta anyway, doesn't seem like it.
The world is beautiful and vast. Not empty at all.
The level of details is great too.
Not so far into the story atm.
All I know is what's been in the ads.
Traveler comes, golden age for humanity, darkness comes, dark age for humanity.
Character creation is kinda limited in beta. Couple of faces, couple of haircuts plus face tattoo.
3 races. Human, Awoken and Exo. Awoken are kinda fantasy humans and Exo are androids.
Drop rate looked balanced.
Guns fire really well, as smooth as Halo and even better I'd say.
I hated shotguns though. It ain't HaloCE's for sure. XD Seemed weak tbh.
Snipers are OP though. First darkness zone boss went like this: First sniper shot, no more shield. Second sniper shot, dead.
At first, all 3 classes seem to play the same. Though there's a bunch of skills to unlock so I bet that if you play longer you see more of a difference.
All classes can equip all types of guns.
3 classes are Titan, Hunter and Warlock.
They do have different stats though.
The AI seem good. Though respawn rate is too short for ennemies.
There are darkness zones which are kinda like dungeons I guess.
If you die in a darkness zone, you start back from the last checkpoint with all progression lost.
Random events happen and they're kinda fun when you get a bunch of people fighting the same foe.
As is custom nowadays, you can revive fallen teammates by going to them.
You get a score screen at the end of matches which gives you your total kills, instant kills and ability kills.
You can switch your gears at any time anywhere.
If I think of something else, I'll say it.
I know there is pvp, it was in the alpha and it's supposed to be in the beta sooner or later. Thing is I play games with multiplayer largely for the social aspect so I would like to have someone to play online with and have a strike team. And since none of my friends have gotten a next gen console and no one plays 360 anymore I gotta wait partly to see where the crowd is going, and if there are other things on the console for me. |

Destiny is awesome~
It looks wonderful. Gameplay is perfect.
Only played an hour and I'm in love with it~
Hows the story and overall world design feel?(no spoilers pl0x) I would love to play it and have been waiting years but don't have a next gen console, and don't feel like picking on up yet or getting it on my 360 as no one is ever on to play. |
