I tried it.
It's pretty cool.
MUCH better than the screenshots they posted a while ago.

First person or third person as in the main games.

The menus have the same designs as Skyrim.
They changed the skills menu though.
Graphics are good, not as high end as Skyrim but the views are breathtaking.

Also, you start in a cell! Surprise surprise! XD
*Hisses and backs out of chair*

Noooo, I hated Skyrim's menus, they were so frustrating on the PC!  I thought this was designed as a PC game!  D

Seriously though, how's the gameplay?  Quest-giving, atmosphere, etc.  Does the genre ruin it or is it comparable to the single player games?

The design/appearance I mean, the esthetic.
They respond better than Skyrim. Wink

The gameplay is great. It plays like TES.
The only ruining element is the thousands of players. XD
Which is expected of an MMO.
Quest-giving is like the main game, it's even acted and the atmosphere is amazing as always~

Sounds interesting.

Only thing that it seems would make it even better is private servers, but I doubt they'll allow that...
Would be cool, though.

Won't happen.
I saw it in their FAQs.
No cross-platform either.

Shame, only other people I know who are getting the game have their hearts set on the PS4 version, and it doesn't seem worth it if I have to pay $15 a month to join crowded public servers and have my immersion broken by people bunny-hopping to quest givers...

When you start the game, you apparently fill out a questionnaire that puts you in a server of like minded people. So yeah.

"bunny hopping to quest givers" this explains me in every game I play, no matter if you can jump or not.

Granted, I do the same thing from time to time, it's just that it kind of breaks immersion for me if other people are doing it xD

PS4 is the superior way to play ESO because Playstation 4 Players will be exempt from the PS+ Subscription fee.

your still paying 15$ a month for a single game

Yay, no PS Plus, I can play one mediocre game online, and nothing else.

As opposed to paying for PS+

which is approx. 4$ a month.

If you can't afford 4$ a month, or a 50$ one-time fee, than you shouldn't be able to afford a PS4

If you actually want to pay almost 4 times that for one game, then you have some crews loose in your head.

Your "Superior Way" is saving you -$11.
