What kind of Nicknames do you use for your Pokemon. Why? What do you use them on if you have any special nicknames for special pokes

For me, it's Ghibli Characters for Gen 1, Food for Gen 2, and Scientists for Gen 3

I've recently been going with comic related names in my last few playings

for example in Y at the moment, I am Pandora and Greninja is Phantom (The Phantom Stranger) and Venusaur is The Question and we form the Trinity of Sin (one of my favourite comic storylines)

Ive taken to nicknaming lately. i always used to call every absol i owned "Havoc" so thats stuck around for ages. my X team that i plan on finishign E4 with is as follows:

Delphox (m) - Kai (literally translates to fire)
Absol (f) - Havoc (for obvious reasons)
Venasaur (f) - Fleur (flower)
Aurorus (f) - Eirlys (means snowdrop)
Tyranitar (m) - Terrian (means physically strong)
Sylveon (f) - Fae (cause fairy)

generally its hard for me to come up with names, so i generally only name my E4 team and my favourite pokes (like absol)

It's like the transformer.

Another cool one would be based off an electornic artist. Like Deadmau5 or Skrillex lol

I find Batman's ally characters (Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin, etc) more interesting than Batman himself but in a way the great allies are what makes Batman good. Cheesy
