So yeah, many call the I think it's called Phoenix Wright game Puzzle Games.
But I've gotta tell you it's not the first game of the kind.
Visual Novels.
They're a phenomenon in Japan and it looks like they're starting to get popular outside.
Phoenix Wright and 999 are both examples.
A visual novel is a game that's basically just a novel but where you're sometimes confronted to choices.
Sometimes, the choices are just plain choices like Yes/No or sentences, sometimes they're in the form of mini-games but they can also be found in a way of puzzles.
Although most Japanese Visual Novels are H-Rated, there's still a lot of them that aren't.
I'm playing 999 now.
I think I'm right in calling it a Visual Novel.
I may be wrong though.
You can prove me wrong if you'd like.

Also, Visual Novels/Puzzle Games general topic.
(Don't go into H though. You know the consequences.)
