-DIGIMON- General Topic
1- DIGIMON AdventureDigimon Adventure (デジモンアドベンチャー
Dejimon Adobenchā) (1999) is the first season of
the anime saga Digimon: Digital Monsters. Its premise involves a group of boys and girls being whisked to a
parallel reality called the Digital World (sometimes called "DigiWorld" for short) while at summer camp. They
were taken there because they were chosen to become DigiDestined, the children that would save the Digital
World (along with Earth near the end of the series) from the evil forces that threatened to destroy it. Each
of the children received a Digimon partner who was preprogrammed to be bonded to them, as well as miniature
devices called Digivices. With the power of the Digivices, their Digimon partners could become stronger forms
to battle enemies or save their partners from danger.
Movies:Digimon: The Movie, a union of the first three Digimon movies dubbed in English and released largely in the United States.
Digimon Adventure, the 1st Digimon movie (which the series was named after).
Digimon Adventure: Our War Game!, the 2nd Digimon movie.
2- DIGIMON Adventure 02Digimon Adventure 02 (2000), also commonly written as Digimon 02/Digimon Zero Two, is a direct
sequel to the previous season; taking place three years later. With most of the original characters now in high
school, the Digital World was supposedly secure and peaceful. However, a new evil has appeared in the form
of the Digimon Emperor (Digimon Kaiser). This new villain is different - he’s a human just like the DigiDestined.
The Digimon Emperor has been enslaving all Digimon in sight with Dark Rings and Control Spires and, to make
things worse, has somehow made regular Digivolution impossible. Three new children are chosen to save DigiWorld
and, along with T.K and Kari, make up the new generation of DigiDestined.
Movies:Digimon Adventure 02: Digimon Hurricane Landing!!/Transcendent Evolution!! The Golden Digimentals, the 3rd Digimon movie.
Digimon Adventure 02: Revenge of Diaboromon, the 4th Digimon movie (continuation from Our War Game!).
Digimon Adventure 3D: Digimon Grandprix!, the 11th Digimon movie.
3- DIGIMON TamersDigimon Tamers (デジモンテイマーズ
Dejimon Teimāzu) is the third animated series based on the Digimon franchise,
first broadcast in 2001. The story takes place initially in the "real world", a world much like ours where Digimon is
just a franchise, composed of video games, a collectible card game, and a cartoon series. A group of 12-year-olds
(10-year olds in the Japanese version), Takato, Henry and Rika (fans of the Digimon card game) meet their own
Digimon friends and start to duel "bio-emerging" Digimon who cross the barrier between the information network
and their world, synthesizing proteins and becoming real. Most of it set in the modern Tokyo ward of Shinjuku and
only changes scenario to the Digital World for a short time.
The tone of this season has many elements from head writer Chiaki J. Konaka's other works, especially
Serial Experiments Lain, including a few aspects from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Thus, the series had a very dark
tone in nature, much more so than its predecessors. The show's English dub had little editing compared to previous
seasons.
Movies:Digimon Tamers: Battle of Adventurers, the 5th Digimon movie.
Digimon Tamers: Runaway Locomon, the 6th Digimon movie.
4- DIGIMON FrontierDigimon Frontier (デジモンフロンティア
Dejimon Furontia) is the 4th Digimon TV series, first broadcast in 2002. After
prompted to do so by unusual phone messages, the 5 main characters go to a subway station and take a train to
the Digital World. Once there, they meet 2 secondary characters, Bokomon and Neemon, who act as guides, and
tell the DigiDestined that the DigiWorld is in danger. They must fight the antagonist, Cherubimon and his Legendary
Warrior servants before they succeed in dominating the world; it's up to the children to save it.
Movies:Digimon Frontier: Island of Lost Digimon, the 7th Digimon movie.
X- DIGITAL MONSTER X-EvolutionDigital Monster X-Evolution (デジタルモンスター ゼヴォリューション
Dejitaru Monsutaa Zevoryuushon) is the eighth Digimon
movie, and aired on January 3, 2005, at 7:15 a.m. UTC+9/JST on the Fuji TV network, making it the first Digimon movie
to be released as a television broadcast rather than as a theatrical film. Unlike the other Digimon films, Digital Monster
X-Evolution was made entirely in CG. Furthermore, it is a stand-alone film, rather than a continuation of one of the
Digimon anime series, although it is loosely based on the storyline of Digimon Chronicle, a series of mini-manga which
accompanied the Digimon Pendulum X toy.
5- DIGIMON Savers (Data Squad)Digimon Data Squad (デジモンセイバーズ
Dejimon Seibāzu, lit. "Digimon Savers") is a Japanese anime television series,
and the fifth series produced as part of the Digimon franchise. It was produced by Toei Animation, and aired every
Sunday at 9:00 a.m. on the Fuji TV network. In addition, a tie-in movie called Ultimate Power! Burst Mode Invoke!
was released on December 9, 2006. Savers is the first Digimon program to be produced in three years, following
2002's Digimon Frontier.
Movies:Digimon Savers: Ultimate Power! Activate Burst Mode!!, the 9th Digimon movie.
Digimon Savers 3D: The Digital World in Imminent Danger!, the 10th Digimon movie.
6- DIGIMON XROS WarsDigimon Xros Wars (デジモンクロスウォーズ
Dejimon Kurosu Wōzu), pronounced Digimon Cross Wars, is the sixth anime
series in the Digimon franchise by Akiyoshi Hongo. It is divided into two seasons, with the second season being
subtitled
Digimon Xros Wars: The Evil Death Generals and the Seven Kingdoms (デジモンクロスウォーズ~悪のデスジェネラルと七人の王国~
Dejimon Kurosu Wōzu: Aku no Desu Jeneraru to Nanajin no Oukoku).
Multiple armies are fighting for dominance of the Digital World. Xros Heart, Blue Flare, Twilight, and the Bagra Army
are each searching for the 108 Code Crowns that grant control of Zones, fractured pieces of the Digital World, and
whoever gathers each of the Code Crowns will be able to combine them into their original form and become the
"Digimon King", able to bend the entire Digital World to their will. The Bagra Army's goal is to transform the Digital
World into a hellish realm of suffering, and Xros Heart, led by Taiki Kudou, must stop them.

Speculations: -There is not many confirmed info as of yet-Preview Poster is
The characters look cool. Though that guy looks like the main character of Hitman Reborn.
It would seem Shoutmon is getting a new design. It is weirding me out a bit though.
Some guy with a Gabumon? Or maybe it's that Psychemon that's just another color set of Gabumon.
That other guy is getting a Dracmon which is cool.
And of course, it was rather obvious, Yuu is joining Taiki with Damemon/Tsuwarmon.
I believe that for some reason, Taiki will get Kiriha's Greymon as Kiriha does not appear on the poster.
Neither does Greymon but I have a feeling he'll still be in.
What the hell though? 2 boys with goggles? 2 main characters?
