Bentley has a plug in hybrid concept already.
And the hybrid in the Mclaren and Porsche 918 isnt for envrioment. The mclaren gets 7 mpg. Its for more power and torque on demand, electric engines get torque instantly.

It's not meant to save the planet or gas, its meant to go fast. Hybrid power gives torque instantly, while gas doesn't.

Gas has to build up and gives more power over time, while electricity is instant.

A Ford Excursion gets better MPG than a Mclaren P1.

A Volkswagen Jetta is more fuel efficent than both of those supercars combined.

They're obviously going to figure it out, Tesla isn't some shitty company that doesn't know what their doing. Their newest car has so much press coverage and sold more than all 3 of it's german rivals combined. And it's only been around for a year.

Again, the kind of people who buy trucks dont want electric cars, let alone ones that arent ford, GMC/Chebby, or Ram, they care more about brand than features. The only way it will sell well is if tesla pulls a toyota and sells it under one of those brands as well.
