What'd you name your character and your rival?

1. Technically, by the Second Rule of Nuzlocke, you're supposed to. It's very unlikely it'll happen, but if it did, I'd see no issue capturing it and just leaving it in a box alone, and never using it until I traded it to another game. A shiny is a shiny, after all. xP
2. Yeah, it was really a dumb battle, in retrospect. During the battle, I was really afraid that he'd attack at the last moment and OHKO Roca. Because his Chimchar outsped Roca, so he could have tried... But he just kept Leering LOL
3. My character is Shelby (myfirst name- I thought it'd make it seem more real LOL), and my rival is Richie (after the spriter, since he's a nice guy. I thought it's be fun to name him after one of my PPN people xP ).

What happened if your team can't learn a necessary HM?
Like what if you never get a water pokemon or something? Is that possible?

It can happen. However, it's generally accepted that you can go back and get something from an unused Route- hopefully a Water type.

All and all, if you're really and truly stuck, it's the general consensus that it's a game over. Because by the point you need an HM, you should have at least one Pokémon who can use it, unless you've been skipping Routes or you've been careless with your Pokémon and let your HM buddies die.

OH! If I was really in need of a Surfer, like desperate, I could always evolve the Eevee from Heartome into a Vaporeon. ^_^ Strength and Rock Smash can be learned by most, just as Cut can. But yeah... Hm. I guess I'll cross those bridges when I get to them. ^__^

You can't miss an HM in Pt.
It's a certitude that you would catch a Bidoof. So you can always get a Bibarel and he is THE HM slave. XD

Nala, from Lion King. Since the main female lion from the story was named Nala, and my Shinx is a female... And Shinx is kind of based on lions.   I liked that movie as a kid xP
