This thread is to be used to discuss any aspect of the pokemon anime or movies (from new/favorite episodes, to characters, to hypotheticals, to wishlists, etc). Discussion about other pokemon related shows is also welcome here.

In addition I will host 2-3 weekly questions/discussion topics here so everyone can participate.

Feel free to answer any questions from the past if you were not able to before in addition to the current (last) question.

Elite 4 members (and Champions) in the anime, what do you think of how they're portrayed? Which one do you find most memorable or your favorite?

1. The very first. Childhood memories, man. xD
2. No clue, I have yet to start watching that arc.
3. I liked it. It seemed a bit different, I don't know how. It was just nice. xP
4. The one vs Lt. Surge. That was some intense stuff. Pikachu doesn't want to evolve. Quite touching, really.

6. So far...? I guess Shaymin. It was so cute I got diabetes. xDDD
7. Ash isn't really 10 still, he just has issues with stunted growth. He's a man-child. But in all seriousness, his character hasn't changed a whole lot. I'd like to see a new main character, however unlikely that is.
8. Sure. I didn't dislike them. They were colorful and flashy. It also makes one think of how many different ways there are to use a Pokemon move (if Pokemon were real).

11. Didn't watch this arc very much. I did catch a few, but for the most part, nah.
12. I treat my Pokemon like that in-game, too, to an extent. I like to pretend. *shifty eyes* Anyways, it does seem more correct. After all, Pokemon are like animals. Makes sense that they'd have some degree of intelligence and personality, no?
13. Tracy. That guy was awesome. Also Misty was cool.
14. Yes, I do. More realistic to say the least- Gary moved on and grew. Ash seems to kind of stagnate with going from League to League and all.

2- Iris is very mean to Ash xD and Dent is weird cos he likens things to tasting and flavours...
3- I liked the 13th movie, Celebi was awesome
4- Vs Brock is memorable cos it was the first and is Pikachu being broken xDD
5- Best Wishes anime is much better cos its less formulaic

8- Pointless filler
9- Tobias is the very embodiment of those serebii n00bs who use hacks to beat the real trainers xD

12- That stuff cant be translated into code, but I think Natures are put in instead
13- Molly, Entei, Togepi, Shaymin, Celebi, Zorua
14- Gary is a scientist so he actually changed as a person
15- Much better since they arent so dumb and repetitive all the time

1- Master Quest
2- Iris is the best girl partner Ash ever had! I mean, even though I despise her hair very much, she's the best! Cilan is original. In the latest Best Wishes episode, he had a fight and he was just TOO AWESOME. I like him more than Brock!
3- The 13th movie was epic. But Ash oughta use his other Pokemon in movies! XD
4- Ash vs Blaine is the most epic. Blaine is amazing and what more, in the manga, he created Mewtwo and later he even catches it in his Master Ball!
5- From what I saw of the B/W anime, I like it but the original is still better. The opening theme was completely screwed in a 30 seconds cheap animation while the original 1:30 was progressive and revealed the shadowed Pokemon as the episodes presented them. The voice actress for Iris is really decent though!
6- I think I said Palkia because of its cry on PPN right? Palkia's cry beats all! XD
7- I don't really care. It's common in shounen and even in other shows. As James Bond never ages but changes actor through the ages.
8- I always thought of contests as being filler episodes.
9- Tobias is unbeatable but Ash still fainted 2 of his Pokemon which is awesome. The battle was epic and it was an awesome way of making Ash lose!
10- It is his best Pokemon ever! His personality is like any otter err... other.* XD
11- Team Galactic will always be my fav because Cyrus is an amazing foe.
12- It would be amazing if they did an Action RPG of Pokemon where you could do stuff like in the anime! But it's not really probable since it would take ONE HELL OF AN ENGINE to run ALL POKEMON'S ABILITIES!
13- Charizard is the most obvious one. Other than that, Wobbuffet? XD
14- Gary was annoying imo in the first series. Then in Johto, he grew better and Ash was more the annoying one towards him. But his latest appearances where he was investigating and stuff, he was amazing and left me in awe!
15- Spoiler: They steal a meteorite from a museum in less than 30 seconds!? What more to say than "THEY ARE THE MOST AMAZING CHARACTERS IN POKEMON YET!"

Dent's fight was awesome.  He owned with his awesome Ishizumai (Ishizumai is definitely one of my favorites since the episode he caught it in)

And Ishizumai is definitely awesome.
I hope he'll evolve it to Iwaparess since it's one of my fav!

Your favorite episodes? New or old, which ones are most memorable to you?

I must say, the battles between some awesome rivals!
Johto league: Ash VS Gary.
Sinnoh league: Ash VS Paul.
Sinnoh league: Ash VS Tobias.

Also, some gym battles.
Kanto: Blaine.
Unova: Cilan. Oshawott will always be engraved in my memories as of this episode! So AWESOME! :3

And I guess the episode where Togepi evolves was cool too!

The most recent one I saw, where the duckies epicly steal things and act like bitches xD
Those ducks are evil

Twice in the episode, this happens to Miju:

1- Gets attacked by Scald
2- Runs around up and down with a red face due to the boiling water
3- Gets mad and throws his shell on the ground in anger
4- picks up the shell and puts it back before smiling hapilly
5- starts to look serious again ready for teh battle against teh evil duckies

It's weird that he smiled again when he put it back on after throwing it angrilly on the ground xD he goes through emotions very fast.
