You forget how many of those cases are in Africa where they don't have access to clean water. In a first world country, assuming things are done properly, the odds or surviving are significantly higher, with the odds of dying of it being more along the lines of 5%. The news is just sensationalizing it.
Now, i'm going to take Spider Man's advice and drop the subject from this point.
and you forget that very few hospitals are even equipped to handle ebola patients. the hospital that the CDC uses for quarentine can only handle 4 patients max. most hospitals dont even know how to properly handle ebola patients.
and at the end of the day, the doctors and nurses are only human, they will make mistakes, like the nurse in dallas who didnt take off her suit properly and got ebola and died, because its still has a 60% death rate, because we have nothing to really treat it.
quit acting like its the common cold, its a deadly virus, and most nurses/doctors know this and are ready to quit if they get an ebola patient cuz they know they will likely die from it. they dont get paid enough to put their lives on the line for this.
