Not yet.  I wanna watch it first cuz reasons.

Dunno. They have to run the background check then they'll call me in for orientation and I'll probably find out then.

Is your seasonal as well?
Target only hires as Seasonal. If you make it through 3 months and they like you, they'll hire you full and proper.

How many hours did you ask for when you applied? They usually will meet your request if not bump it slightly up or down. I asked for 30-35 a week, and usually work 35-40.

Don't worry by the way, orientation is just a slow, boring reading of the employee hand book, a tour of the store, and a few forms being filled out.

If you already have a bank account, I'd recommend bringing a void, blank check so you can set up your direct deposit on your first day on the job by the way. It makes things a lot easier. Every other week, i see people clammoring for their checks at guest services, and it's just sad.

Well it's only 1 month so...

Whatever hours they needed me and at whatever time. I was/am desperate.

I have an account, but no checks cuz I don't use them. fug

So I got a jerb at Target. Gonna be a cart attendant once they run a background check. Hurrah

Also, since being bed ridden and locked up for so long, I've become incredibly awkward and was spilling my spaghetti everywhere today. I did Frozen on dvd to watch later though. >:U

Grats~

Frozen was pretty good.
The girls are pretty smexy.
Also, Frozen 2 is a thing.

I guess it's perfectly normal you are awkward now.
And your aunt doesn't want you to get a job cuz she wants to slave you for the rest of your life. Probably.

*thinks elsa looked better pre 'let it go' transformation*

And Goddammit Disney. Stop milking this money flavored cow. It's getting old faster than you can say "LET IT GO DISNEY!"

you think its getting old

their target audience isn't.

They are going to milk it, and who cares?

The funding for this movie may have been the reason the Star Wars Films and stuff can keep going.

Also this doesn't mean the movie isnt good or bad. Cinemasins does alot of movie, even their favoruites.
They recently did Guardians Of The Galaxy.

I never said anything about the video saying it was bad. I just pointed the video out.

And who says I want Disney to make the Star Wars films? I truely believe they'll ruin it.

It can't be worse than the pre trilogy.

I actually liked those. Say what you will, but Ani's story of growing up into the Vader was actually really interesting. It was all because he was too old when he started his training, but his potential was too great for Obi and Qui Gon to ignore. Really speaks to the point of comparison between the old way of the Jedi, and the new way that Luke forged

I enjoyed it quite a bit. I do think it felt a bit rushed though. Not even just the ending, I mean the whole movie felt like they had something larger planned then had to scale it back a LOT. Still, I enjoyed it and I will add it to my Christmas movie marathon list.

The Hogfather and The Nightmare Before Christmas are what I watch on Christmas.

Also, Happy Birthday Starrk!
Thanks bro! :D

The only Star Wars I liked was the one where ani gets his limbs cut off and burned in the lava. :u

So we had Steak and Lobster for dinner today. I also found out I like Shrimp a lot more than I do lobster.

I also tried fruitcake. Shit was disgusting as fug :DDD

And I'm going to go shopping for a couple red shirts on saturday so I can work at Target cuz I got no red shirts. :\

So what have you guys done for christmas?

Question. I have tan cargo pants. Are those acceptable or do they have to khakis?

Tan long pants is fine. They just need to look like khakis. And even then, there's some wiggle room. Pleanty of the women at my target actually wear white pants. They just can't be jeans, and they have to be a tan-like colour.
