You guys have no idea how Ebola works, do you? Everyone in the country's making it out to be some end of days thing when not only is it perfectly survivable in 1st world countries, but also only spreads through body fluids. The few cases there are in the states right now got it through very particular circumstances.

and you forget that very few hospitals are even equipped to handle ebola patients. the hospital that the CDC uses for quarentine can only handle 4 patients max. most hospitals dont even know how to properly handle ebola patients. and at the end of the day, the doctors and nurses are only human, they will make mistakes, like the nurse in dallas who didnt take off her suit properly and got ebola and died, because its still has a 60% death rate, because we have nothing to really treat it. quit acting like its the common cold, its a deadly virus, and most nurses/doctors know this and are ready to quit if they get an ebola patient cuz they know they will likely die from it. they dont get paid enough to put their lives on the line for this. |
