7up is Pepsico.
sprite is coke. Sierra mist is Pepsico, 7up is doctor pepper in the USA and Pepsico in the rest of the world. ._.

Personal preference. Also, I just like Korean idols' visuals more than Japanese idols. Korean companies put a lot of emphasis on the physical appearance of their idols. That's why plastic surgery is popular in the Korean entertainment industry. Although I can't say that all the surgeries turn out well. Some of them do, while others... not so much.
Somewhat related, but some k-pop groups also do Japanese songs. Groups usually enter Japanese market after they've established a strong following in Korea, which is about 2-4 years after their debut. As for whether you consider this j-pop or not, it's really up to you. J-pop has a distinct sound which is difficult for me to explain, but I just know it when I hear it. For me, some of these songs can be considered as j-pop, while others are pretty much k-pop in the Japanese language.
It's the same thing doe D:
>spend all day cleaning computer
>put it back together
>plug it in
>it turns on
>wont turn off
>nothing going to screen
>disconnect everything
>figure out the motherboard is KIA
>also bent three CPU pins
>Unable to bend them back enough
>mfw
I'm going to call my aunts friend tomorrow to come see if he can bring spare parts and fix this awful thing. Or maybe even replace it. He feels like he owes my aunt a lot since she helped him and his family out when he lost his job so he will probably do it all for free.
But yeah, today was an awful, dusty day. seriously, the amount of dust and spiderwebs that computer contained is the stuff of nightmares. ;_;

America's legal is 21 lol
Is there any other country with a legal age that high?
If I'm understanding this right.. at 18 you can do porn , can vote what happens to the country, can get killed in war , make life decisions , except drink alcohol. You too young for alcohol.

It's to do with the scientists at american universities. Their research implies that the human brain isn't fully developed until at least age 20 and that alcohol is most damaging before that age, and given the proximity to our legal system, they've got the level of influence to impose the research. Not like it matters that much. Besides, if someone younger than 21 wants to drink that bad, they'll find a way.

My background is Filipino. I don't understand Japanese at all, but I know how to read written Korean. I also know basic Korean grammar structure and few hundred words. As for spoken Korean, I barely understand it unless it's a song with a decent pace.

Either make the drinking age 21 or all the other stuff 21.
Turning 18 doesn't mean shit. All you can really do is get tried as an adult.
Especially in Canada, since you have sex at 16 here.
It's 19 to drink here, which is stupid, since it's one year.
I wonder what Mary J laws will be like, 18+ or 21+?
In Colorado it's 21+ to smoke weed and grow up to six plants, but im not sure if I would say it has the same classification as Alchohol. Both shouldn't be consumed while driving, but Marijauna doesn't cause permanant brain damage or liver damage from overconsumption like Alcohol does.
Also with the "Anyone can get it", yeah laws don't really matter when it comes to that.
It's like Cigarettes, there is no age on when you can smoke it, but you have to be 18+ to purchase it. Cops can't bust you for smoking a cigarette under 18, but they can bust you for purchasing cigarettes or finding someone who purchased it for you.
Alchohol you can practically always get away with as long as you don't buy it for somebody or do it publically. Our Prom After-party was busted by the Police, but nobody got charged.
DUI is Illegal, same with Public Intoxication, but if a Cop busts a House Party full of 17-18 year olds Drinking, it's actually counter-productive to hunt down each and every party guest, because it's a waste of police resources.
As long as none of those kids drive, they aren't hurting anybody. You don't have control over that stuff.
American law overreacts to weed, Canadian cops don't care as long as your not obvious or blatant. Cops won't go out of their way to bust pot-smokers, but if someone walks up smoking a phatty and dealing to some kids, they will be confenscated, fined, and in rare cases small amount of jail time.

Weed does cause brain problems when over consumed just like alcohol, and does cause lung problems if smoked.
It's 21 cuz alcohol.
Problem with weed is theres no way to tell if you're under the influence of it or not because it stays in your system for days afterwards, so if you want to drive anywhere, you have to make sure you dont do weed for a few days beforhand. We dont have the technology yet to figure how long ago someone did weed, but hopefully as it becomes legal in more and more areas, companies and laws will create the technology required.
Also, it is giving cops more stuff to do in other states as they search all the cars for any colorado weed smugglers.
But yeah, the laws are bollocks but will eventually change as more young people learn how to vote.

To be fair, int most states in america, you can have sex legally at 16, assuming it's with someone else who's age is greater than 16 and less than three years older than you. It's just at 18 where you can be in porn or have sex legally with significantly older people.
16 is also driving with your own licence assuming you've driven with a permit for at least six months, though after 18 you just need a permit for a few weeks before you can test for a licence.
At 18, you can purchase Nicotine products as well as Tobaco products, but the taxes on those are getting rediculous. It's over seven dollars for a single pack of Malboros. That's why I stick with E-Cigs. Healthier anyway.
You know, I wonder if america isn't trying to stagger milestones out to prevent a young adult from overdoing it by doing everything at once. Two years to get responsible with driving before you can smoke, three years to get responsible with smoking before you can drink... I think I'm onto something.

did you know
In Canada, Ciagrette Boxes are required to show disgusting pictures of lung cancer, messed up teeth and gums, holes in peoples necks, shit like that. America doesn't, but Canada does.
I think its a Freedom of Speech thing, Canada doesn't have Freedom Of Speech (which im actually thankful for since stuff like KKK and Westboro is considered hate speech and isnt tolerated very well, but in America they can get away with it)

you dont really notice the whole not free speech thing
everytime i tell someone they are suprised, it use it as a party fact
because Canadians think they are American. Plus it only replies to hate groups like KKK, Westboro, shit like that.
You can say nigger and stuff, but its like illegal to go up and call someone a nigger or hold a sign that says "NIGGERS SHOULD DIE"
or more common in america
"GOD HATES FAGS"
im ok with it
